Riz Sanders can’t fly. She can’t shoot laser beams out of her eyes, talk to animals, or do her taxes. All of this would be perfectly fine except Riz lives in a world where people can do these things and more. She is the owner of a bar called Charlie’s Place and she is happy if not a little bored until a Super Hero named Dark Shadow asks for her help with finding the person responsible for targeting people with powers. Between the Supers, her lone employee Fred, and movie star Lexi Arden (who Riz accidentally saved the life of), Riz isn’t sure who to trust. Are these feelings of love, friendship, or something more sinister? What are these mysterious rocks that keep showing up at Riz’s bar? And why does Riz keep almost dying?
